Discretion Advised 💬💬💬
MisfitME86 was created to never fit the puzzle the same way the other pieces fit. With my spunky but sassy creativity, I discovered that underneath the surface, despite trauma, dignity remains in optimistic views, with the idea that radical acceptance creates paths for future changes. I knew this my entire life but I choose to cope through strategies of my own that work as distractions. My own creativity is not just limited to a simple blog. It is also my own mind being written down on a blank sheet. Here I am choosing to be open with others in allowing my poems to be heard.
You can locate some of my published work on Poetry.com under Misfitme86 or Crystal R. Anderson.
Please be advised that some of these poems relate to real life past trauma and experiences that should never be taken lightly.
People go through situations with circumstances that are left unheard and unnoticed.
Reaching out is always the first step to what I call the "escape."
I hope you find this read informational and maybe what I choose to share about myself will help others find a way towards their own personal life journey through any struggle towards healing.
Truthfully, I wish I would have had more support in finding my inner peace again. No one deserves to feel alone when it comes to any type of hardship; especially prolonged trauma.
Poem for Today
I reach out persistently,
no one can hear me,
I scream aloud to a crowd that walks away,
My breath is cold and short,
I can't breathe,
so I collapse on the ground gasping,
as I gasp for air,
I find myself choking,
I lay on the ground alone.
Is this my last day to feel this burden?
I sleep next to the dark reality,
it was the love of my life,
just bruises on my body,
scars on my heart,
not one day pain free.
I look up to the sky and think God is my High,
Right where the sun shines.
That's the only free I can be.
My breath is cold,
I can't breathe.

Personal Quote "My heart is heavy but my light still shines."
Lets Read the Holy Bible.
Isaiah Chapter 1 Verse 5 thru 6
"The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
From the sole of the foot even to the head,
there is no soundness in it,
but bruises and sores
and raw wounds;
they are not pressed out or bound up
or softened with oil."
Isaiah Chapter 57 Verse 19 thru 21
"creating the fruit of the lips.
peace, peace, to the far and to the near,"
says the Lord,
"and I will heal him.
But the wicked are like the tossing sea;
for it cannot be quiet,
and its waters toss up more and dirt.
There is no peace," says my God, "for
the wicked."

I watched a video that made me cry. It was a 9 minute video with Gary Player flying by airplane to the Masters. Gary Player said, "I love a Snickers, I don't even take the paper off."
And don't forget! God loves you!
