Journey and Struggle Continued 2026

I want to share part of a poem I wrote yesterday about some of my inner thoughts and feelings. This is hard for me day by day to battle past wounds that indefinitely haunt me but it isn't the type of ghost that clouds me so much in the sense that it was my own problem. I had to come to the simple fact that just because someone else chooses to make poor choices in life, doesn't mean that I have to stay in a life that creates heartbreak and burdens that never heal. Recovery does take time but sometimes having time to help recover through the struggle takes longer. Wounds were never meant to battle alone but I admire the ones that had no other choice but to be alone through the battles and survived.

Thank you God for being my stronghold and having steadfast love and endurance!

A Partial Poem for today

“Removing poison in the dark that thrives,

While circulating a new system in my own mind’s creativity,

Purposeful wisdom leading to more pondering thoughts,

in a sound that pounds like raindrops,

And while the atmosphere is so heavy,

So then I start to think about things like this”

It is just like that. When you have to extract out all the negative things in your own life because all they were doing was just bringing you to your lowest place in your heart.... Realizing that people forget to pay attention to the details of what caused a person to suffer in the first place.... It never fails really but the difference is, "I got up today, regardless of how much pain I am in and I masked the pain so well that no one could tell that I was even crying on the inside." Being strong is not easy and it's even more invigorating when the weakness is the strength to keep going! Thank you God for every day you give me, even if tomorrow is never promised.
